In this tutorial we will learn how to create a reflection of an object in Photoshop. Reflection is a shadow like the original object.
Usually this reflection shadow visible on the surface of the water or the surface of a table made of glass.
Below is the final result of the tutorial makes the shadow of reflection on an object in Photoshop.

Duration: 15 Minutes
Here are the steps to create a reflection of an object.
Step 1
Create a new file in Photoshop with the size of the file to adjust the size of the object that we will give the reflection effect. In this tutorial we use the image files to the type of portrait. So that we give the new file size as below:
Width: 1000 pixels
Height: 1200 pixels
Resolution: 72 Pixels / inch
Step 2
Open the photo that we will create a shadow reflections in photoshop.Selection of photos of the object using the selection tool the magic wand tool (W) or other selection tool in accordance with the level of difficulty of the picture for this selection, in this tutorial we use the image with a white background so it is easy for the selection.
Make feather the selection by 1 pixel, by clicking the menu select - Modify - feather or press Shift + F6 on the keyboard.

Step 3
Brighten image with levels or curves.
Click the image - Adjustment - Curves or Levels.
Step 4
Add a new layer above the background layer.
Then activate gradient tool (G) in blue and white with a linear gradient type.
Apply these tools on the new layer we created earlier. See the picture below.
Step 5
In this step reactivate the layer image that we will give the reflection effect.
Then duplicate the layer by right-clicking on the layer and select Duplicate or press Ctrl + J on the keyboard.
Step 6
To layer the original objects we use vertical transform function.
Click the edit-transform menu or press Ctrl + T on your keyboard.
Then adjust the position of the image so that it is just below the other images.
Step7
In this step we begin to make the image below into the reflection of the image above.
Add layer mask on the layer that becomes a reflection by clicking the menu layer - the layer mask icon or click the add layer mask in the layers box.
Activate gradient tool in black and white, select the type of linear gradient.
Then apply the layer mask that we created earlier.
